Access and Costs

AVH supports two types of authentication.

You can sign up without an Arm account using password-based authentication.

Alternatively, Arm users can use their Arm account to access AVH using SSO. Access to AVH using Arm SSO is only available for users with a verified Arm account. If you do not have an Arm account, you can register here.

Once registered, you automatically have access to AVH and are enrolled on a 30-day free trial. This trial provides access for up to 15 active CPU cores at a time and up to 100 core hours of usage. Your trial includes 25 device slots. After this trial period, the virtual device is automatically shut down and must be restarted by the user.

Following this trial period or if your usage exceeds the constraints of the trial period, you can activate your subscription. You will be charged based on usage at a rate of $0.50 per core hour, where a core hour is one hour of CPU core usage on AVH. For example, running a five-core device for one hour would cost $2.50 and running a single-core device for three hours would cost $1.50.

Discounts are available for open-source software development and other non-commercial, academic, or research usage. Volume discounts are also available.
